Mokkola is a classifieds marketplace and verified business directory serving Ghana and the Ghanaian diaspora in the United States.

Why we built it

Online marketplaces in this region are fast to list on but hard to trust. Buyers cannot tell a real business from a fake one, and honest sellers get tarred with the same brush. Mokkola's answer is verification: businesses that pass our checks carry a badge, and their reviews come from real buyers.

How we make money

Listings are free and we take no commission on your sale. We earn from optional paid boosts and from premium subscriptions for verified businesses. If we ever change that, we will say so plainly on this page.

Where we operate

We are launching in Ghana, starting with Accra, and serving diaspora buyers and sellers in the United States. We will add cities as we build real supply in them — not before.
