Plain language about what we do, what we do not do, and how to protect yourself.

What we do

• We verify businesses that carry the verified badge — registration documents and ID are checked by a person.
• We moderate listings and remove ones that are fraudulent, illegal or misleading.
• We investigate every report and suspend sellers who breach our rules.

What we do not do

• We do not process payments and we do not hold your money in escrow. Any payment is directly between you and the seller.
• We cannot refund you if a deal goes wrong off-platform.
• A verified badge confirms a business is real. It is not a guarantee of the quality of any item.

Staying safe

• Inspect the item in person before paying anything.
• Meet in a public place during daylight. Bring someone with you for high-value items.
• Never send a deposit or mobile money transfer to a seller you have not met.
• Be wary of prices far below market — that is the most common sign of a scam.
